Hey blood! Happy ICO Day to you. Are you going to be CO-ing about "Manfred" United this year/

khazadman 05-15-2003 02:56 PM

They have a day celebrating cowardice?

Kaltia 05-15-2003 03:08 PM

It's not cowardice, khazad, it's for people who don't like the thought of killing. This can be for religious reasons. Let's follow Khazad's reasoning! The national Army day is now the national Murderer's Day! It all depends on your viewpoint. And Khazad...why are you so damn rude all the time?

I was against the war, don't ever make the mistake of thinking I'm a coward, two different things mate.

Cool! A post i can refer to in future to discredit any argument you ever make supporting a warlike stance!

Equating objection with cowardice is like equating marines with psychotic murderers. Feel free to call objectors cowards, but please extend to them the same courtesy of being able to unfairly label you as a mentally unbalanced psychopath

Or maybe you just don't understand the whole concept of a free society where people are allowed to hold views that don't agree with those of the government? I thought that was a rallying call for the American military - to support that way of life.

My conclusion - either you are unable to grasp the concept of not agreeing with a governmental descision to go to war due to moral objections, or you are simply trolling for arguments. Please explain which

Funny how some people can see courage as the ability to respond to violence with violence where as others may see courage as the ability NOT to respond to violence with violence. All in the eye of the beholder....
