Here are some pics of fish which were found after the Tsunami on the beach and other areas.

Hate to break it to ya, hon, but when I went looking for a story to identify a couple of the fish I'm not familiar with I came up with this:

Apparent Hoax

Still...those are some FREAKY fish. ;)

Dace De'Briago 01-27-2005 08:44 PM

Some of those are very interesting.

Not seen any of them on Rex Hunt's show mind ;)

I quite like the eel/fish on the first pic and the squidipus fish on the third.

Hoax or not, I think there's still countless types of fish and marine wildlife out there that we've never seen or heard of before. We know so little about the deep ocean. I wouldn't doubt that the tsunami brought up some very interesting things.

Aww, that third pic fish is cute

I had seen some of these pics long time ago.

3rd pic looked like a platapus hehe

I liked the spiked many-legged crab LOL! Oh and the one below it too, reminds me of some monsters I've killed in RPGs. :D

Cool pictures LOL, don't care if they are real or not. Although I agree with Arledrian, there are many things living in the oceans that we know nothing about, as technology can go only so far under water. Our governments spend so much on exploring space, and I think and wonder if that money, and effort, were put into the oceans, what would we find? Our planet contains many things that can end up being helpful to us humans, I think we need to explore and conquer all nitches in our own planet before we look towards others, especially since said others (planets) are pretty much barren. Such a plethora of life unexplored in our own oceans.

Mmmmmm...I wonder if those things taste good. :D

The Hierophant 01-28-2005 12:06 AM

Well, even if they wern't washed up in the tsunami, they are still real creatures, and are still amazing to look at
