Ok I am on chapter 6 ... have done pretty much all of the quests .... I guess my main question is .... when can I no longer go back and do quests .... can I kill bohdi and still do quests or will it suck me into chapter 7 .... also all of my party is up around lvl 16 to 17 .... but Imoen is 14 and aerie is 13 ...... are their any good ways to get exp. fast for them .... I have already killed both dragons ... fought twisted rune (won on first try) .... and am about to kill kangaxx ... I have done pretty much every quest .... also would they be fine going into chap. 7 the way they are?

You are more then fine. You also have lots of opportunities to gain experience before the final battle.
