I have an Undead Hunter Paladin and am totally unable to equip Stakes!!!!
I have stripped down and still cannot. I have tried putting them into every available slot and get that nasty sound....
Also, once they are equipped how do you use them? Throw like darts, or hold like a sword?
Please help!
I made an Undead Hunter strictly cause I want to stake Vampires!!!

Also... any other weapons anyone know of that work on Vamps?

you can not equip the stakes because they are used to kill the vampires in the underground catacombs beneath the graveyard once you have the quest from the shadowmaster. you will find an area north of the spider web where the stakes will be used in the room with 3 caskets each time you kill a vampire in battle with a name it will turn in to a gas and return to this room when you put your cursor over one of the caskets it will turn into a sword, then when your are close to casket (you must click the sword twice on the casket to use the stakes and kill the vampire permentlly
