Since I asked and am curious about all of you, I'll start:
The oddest nickname I have ever gotten was 'Fred' (my r/l name being Brenda). One of my NOW closest friends dubbed me 'Fred' soon after we first met. For some odd reason, I also answered to it. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif When I asked her (much later) why she called me 'Fred', she said that the day she first met me, I was wearing a shirt that reminded her of the one Fred Flintstone wore in the cartoon. (Apparently something with orange and black on it). When next she came across me, she couldn't remember my name. So instead of embarrasing herself by asking my name again, she dubbed me something she could remember. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif It is the only nickname that I've ever gotten that has really 'stuck' and the longest lasting one, too.
