I was in G'Ezzerred Ra's Study or something, and there was a level 12 lock on a door. My bard only has 7 points in traps and locks (although he does have trickery, so it's probably higher), so this didn't work well. He eventually jammed the lock, and I think that behind the door is the Lich's treasure. How can I open it now that it's jammed? I tried using the Pry spell, but my ranger's sorcery level isn't high enough, and he doesn't have disarm trap.

You can bash it IIRC, or you can use a high-level lockpick on it. Or come back later when you're more experienced.

The treasure that's behind there isn't all that great. A nice robe, a couple of ankhs, and some miscellaneous small things. You won't really miss it if you don't get it.

I believe that when the lock has jammed neither lockpicking nor violence helps. In this case only the pry spell - or even better: The disarm trap spell - helps. You have to have a very high level of sorcery to pull off a successful opening attempt.

Bsftcs is right. Only a spell will help. You will need Sorcery 10 or better for unlocking this lock by means of the Disarm Trap spell.
Don't overlook that the lock is level 12. Here is my experience with the lock:
1. A non-thief character will be unable to open the lock even if he has Lockpicking 12. The lock will be "difficult" and the character will always fail.
2. A thief-like character will be able to open the lock at Lockpicking 12 and, most likely, at slightly lower lockpicking level as well. But the lockpicking level will need to be 10 at leat, still. At Lockpicking 12, the lock will be "moderate".
3. A spell can open the lock at Sorcery 10 or higher.
4. The Trickery trait helps here. It increases your lockpicking ability by 15% so that your lockpicking level can be lower.
5. A zenmaster can open the lock at Lockpicking 14.

Please note the general lockpicking rule:
1. Give up every lock, which is "intricate" - your lockpicking skill is too low and you will fail even with lockpicks. Return later, when you have improved your lockpicking abilities.
2. Always use lockpicks, preferably good ones, if the lock is "difficult" - you have no chance without lockpicks.
3. A "moderate" lock need not be moderate at all. Save the game.
