Does anyone know if Resurrection causes a CON penalty of -1 to a character each time it is performed in BG2?

I know that this was the case in PnP AD&D in the past. That is how the game prevented players from using Resurrection too freely.

I haven't had to resurrect/raise a character yet, so I'm not aware if there is a penalty.

I think that depends on which difficult level you play at. If you have Coe rules or above it will but I don´t know. Otherwise it doesn´t.

No. As far as I know, there is no penalty to resurrecting characters as many times as is needed -- at least in normal play.
