does anyone know where we could find players to play BG2 on line. I have tried at gamespy, but very few people are there.

try http://www.planetbaldursgate.com/ they are legit only and VERY much against hacking, item duplicating, xperience cap removal, and other such editing to characters. they require you to post your game twice: the first post is for multiplayers to find and join, the second is after the game is done, for record keeping and checking to make sure your character remains legit. they also require 'monitors' to be present in the game, these are people who have a specific role in the game, in addition to just playing it: they have a special responsibility to make sure the game remains compliant with the guild's guidelines. if someone is breaking the rules, the monitor may require that the offending player be removed (monitors do not have to be the host). even though this is technically a guild, they do not restrict guild membership to themselves; they are more for making a place where people can meet who have a common wish, to play the game with other serious players, roleplaying your character is encuraged.
