And we're off

The third round of the group stage is underway

Denmark - France and Senegal - Uruguay

Ar-Cunin 06-11-2002 02:55 AM

Senegal 1 - Uruguay 0 (penalty)

DENMARK 1 - France 0

Ar-Cunin 06-11-2002 03:20 AM

Halftime

Senegal 3 - Uruguay 0 - looks like Senegal is going to win the group

Denmark 1 - France 0 - and Denmark is going to finish second (France have to score 3 goals in the second half to qualify)

Hi Ar

Bah, we have Zidane ... ;)

I'm here Moiraine. Say hello to Luc. There were some good plays from France near the end of that half.

They'll need more of that to win... ;)

Aren't Senegal amazing?

Uruguay score...! Aminute into the second half.

Hi Yorick !

Can't say Hi to Luc ! He's at home watching the game, and I'm at work ... very alone at work, for once ! ;)

</font>
You mean it's not a national day of mourning.... I mean a holiday?

I can't believe France are staring at exiting. Unbelievable. It's a bummer actually.

I spoke to a Polish friend today, who was.... very pissed off to say the least.

Well, no, it's not "officially" a holiday - although it certainly looks like a Sunday in the streets and offices. ;)

Bah, being the former winner sure puts a lot of pressure - besides, look at the bright side, if the big teams are all out, maybe the Senegal will win the World Cup, eh ? ;)

EDIT : I can't believe I'm actually posting in a football thread, oh my ! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon10.gif
