When should I change my characters roles. ASAP? or should I wait and let them gain abilities first.

I am ready to turn my priest into a monk but should I wait?

On spellcaster roles like Priest, definitely wait until about Level 14, or until you get all the Vine spells you want (including the high level spells, especially Breath of Air). Same with Wizards: make sure you have all the Stone spells and Sun spells you want, but especially Stone spells, as the only other roles that can learn them are Zenmaster and Valkyrie near the endgame.

On Warriors and Rogues, you can ascend them ASAP.

Yikes! I changed over to Warlock at level 7 thinking they could learn all spells, including Stone. Is this not true?

Ah. Sorry about that. The Warlock is the one exception to the rule. Warlocks can continue to learn all spellbooks at the same level as their old roles, including Moon and Fiend magic. The only problem is, you can spend forever trying to get all the spells! Best to plan out which ones you really need. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif
