Why not just use whatever your name is?

Use this address:

Fantasy Name Generator

I got it from Memnoch and it's a very cool name generator.

Have fun.

Hi LEGOLAS,

I'm partial to Bubbles, Blossom or Buttercup for a female Paladin. Depending on hair color, of course. :D

I once did an essay for a multiplayer online game (where I worked for four years) on how easy it is to come up with fantasy names, and detailed some of the sources. Don't recall what I did with the thing; probably just as well. But if you're looking for something exotic, just go to the so-called Web of International Dictionaries at http://www.yourdictionary.com/ It offers 270(!) languages. I input a word in English, then choose a translation for some of my names. Sometimes I choose for sound; at other times, I try to go for sound and sense.

For example, I just chose a Finnish dictionary. Within less than thirty seconds I had the name of a good archer: Kerkea Nuoli, or Swift Arrow. There were other options; I could have opted for Sukkela Vasama, for example. Or, I could have mixed 'em up: Suoli Vasnakerka sounds kinda neat.

Just an option to consider.

Vasama

Cassandra is the name i use for my female cavalier with woman2 as the portrait (the platemail-wearing, sword-clutching woman with the determined look in her eyes).

check out history books or feminist literature. a name with a genuine tale seems more appropriate.

Carlo Sanciona( means "Bringer of the Pure Light" or something to that extent)

Pardon my usage of Geocities, but this was a long, long time ago when I just started using webservers, before I started using Angelfire. Pardon my HTML too. ;)
