My main character is suffering from the effects of blindness, zero removal of fog of war, etc, yet there is not icon and no matter how many times I rest, reload cast dispell magic it wasn't gone. Has anyone experinced this or know how get rid of it?

Is your game patched? It sounds like a bug. Have you tried going to a temple or casting Heal on yourself?

Thanks I tried that just now, restored my guys vision but hasn't put his THAC0 back to normal.
As for the patch, unless one was inculded in TOB, I haven't got one at all.

You mean removing his eyeballs restored his vision!!!
Just kidding.
You should be able to get the appropriate patch on BG2's website (f that's the problem) :cool:
