ROTFL!!!!

The man is either A) seriously disturbed, B) on drugs, or C) one of the great comic geniuses of our time. His dark depictions of what happens to *bad little boys and girls* when they don't tow the line of fundamentalist charismatic religious practice has probably done more to influence Goth culture and fashion than any other one factor! Images of "good Christians" being tortured by mind-control experts during the End Times, capering and cavorting demons, suicide-bent teens, etc...it may not be all believable, but it is entertaining!

I've been aware of the man and his work since the early 70's, when I first read "This Was Your Life", which I think is his most famous tract. Now I see that most of the tracts are online. Interesting!

Cheers,

I don't know whether to laugh or to cry! How can ANYONE be that stupid???

Saz, I'm sad to say it.... But I don't think we can expect it to be C.... I think it's more likely a combination of A) and D) religious fanaticism.

lol... the comic strip is hilarious!!!

Hmmm, he sounds like the obsessed one to me.

Bahamut 04-18-2002 11:21 AM

Wow... that was really well... educating...

Actually I don't think that it has anything to do with it.. it was the person's choice... not the games... I do not take it to higher levels meaning making it reality. It is just like this Columbine Tragedy (I think in Colorado right?) On where they blamed it on Marilyn Manson and Doom... geez... people are just finding escape routes and not looking on what's wrong with themselves actually... :(

Hmmmm, "dangerous" is the first adjective that popped into *my* head.

It was pretty funny until I saw this:
