anybody ever tried this and succeeded? i cant seem to kill everybody or anybody for that matter. im sure it's possible, but what do you get out of a successful fight anyways? is it worth it? i finished his quest so that isn't an issue but is there any other reason to keep him alive?

Renal is what you might call an "unkillable" character.

ugh no way..that sucks, i think that is unfair.

you can kill him, you have to react fast

once they turned into hostile, there will be some unlife godly creature named Gath come out and hunt you down. he basically one hit kills and never die. Gath also use ranged attack, well, the rule here is, if he attacks you, you die. if you comes near you, you die. if he waves his weapon your way, you die.

so you have to kill Bloobscalpe before Gath gets to you

summon would help, start the game with lots of Charms, so basically make as many allies as you can. charm Bloodscalpe as well.
put them in a huge group, and put your character in the middle, drink a bottle of Free Action. then cast webs. now start the game by Doom Bloodscalpe twice, and once Gath comes out, lower his resis. so he would be held by web. now kill Bloodscalp with anything you have that kills the fastest (backstab, spell, quivering palm, whatever) you have approximately 5 seconds to kill him, and grab the loot. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif good luck

thanks..do you happen to know what he drops? that sounds pretty tough..is it even worth it?

it worths it, he drops boots of speed, which means you can get it fairly early in the game!

also, he drops a dagger +3, very nice, a cloack of ....shadow? what the hell, i havent touched this game for so long
