1/ What bullets does the Sling of Everard fire?
2/ I accidentally killed Virconia, how do I get her back via changing the global variables and “summoning” her?
3/ Is ten attacks per round any good? Dual weld Belm and Improved Haste gives you that but I can’t hit anyone!
4/ Who thinks Jhor the Bleeder is a great sword? Poisons without save…well it makes yo bleed
5/ Does the Blackrazor really drain levels? I know it increased Imoen’s strength to 25…but never seems to drain levels.

Oh and why can't mages dual class??? http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif
On the manual it said specialist mages can dual class if they wish to....but hey when has the manual been right? I had full stats...so...why?

Has anyone used the wand of wonder before, if so what does it do?

Balor 07-04-2001 12:28 PM

1. phantom bullets (unlimited ammo)
2. not a clue
3. it also depends on you THAC0 (10 per round.. thats ten attempts in 6 seconds)
4. it just does extra damage.. whant a cool sword you should get blackrazor (but you only get it VERY late in the game)
5. you wont really notice the level drain but its there...
6. it depend on if your human or not.. humans can dual to almost anything..

Balor, are you sure???
Human Mages with correct stats can dual class????
I don't believe it!
Somone back me up here! I would love it if Balor is right!

Jhor has been renamed by me as wizard slayer!...poison disrupts big spells!
Say the mage suddenly gets contigency to protect it's self...it takes you time to react and then cast breach. But the mage can't use this time to max effect because the bleed damage is there!

Black Razor does drain levels. Just try to hit your own party member with it then you can see the level drain in his character screen. Just hope you have a restore spell ready before you try it though.

I believe you! What about the mage not being able to dual class TO anything else?

Tuor 07-04-2001 12:57 PM

Mages can dual class but you have to be:
1) Human
2) Have a 15 in your primary stat (intelligence in this case)
3) a 17 in your secondary stat-the prime stat of the character you want to change into (str for a fighter, dex for a thief, wis for a cleric)
4) You can't dual class to a paladin, bard or specialist kits though

Incidently why dual class from a Wizard if you do that you end up with low hit points you are usually better off dual classing to a mage or playing a non human multi-class character.

It makes no sense at all if you start as a mage then dual class to a fighter for example.

Balor 07-04-2001 12:59 PM

it would be better to dual from a fighter to a mage.. i like the idea of a mage runnen around with 100+ hit points... just terrorizing the wrold http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
