Hi, i just started the game for the first time as an evil cleric (always played good or neutral so far) and i cant find the Helm and the Mail in their usual places!!! Is this supposed to happen? If so, will I find them later?

I've never had the helmet not be in it's usual spot, but I've experienced the mail being missing before, if it is, it won't be encountered at a later time.

I've found 2 helms of Balduran once but it's never been missing before.

as for mail of dead that goes missing a lot with me.

helm in irenicus room (i think, NOT his loves room) in the left bookcase, mail of the dead is on the duegar (the leader)

Nope...it should be there, but it isnt in both instances :-(...

I've had to mail go missing on me, but never the Helm. Pretty annoying if you ask me...

I don't know why the helm is missing, but if you have a multiplayer game going the mail won't show up.

I too have not found the mail of the dead on Illyich's body before. Once time it was even replaced by a set of chain mail +3! which is lower AC and is worth more anyway.

Only happened once though.

Guys make sure you check Illychis body carefully! Remeber, he has 2 sets of armor, and a whole heap of other crap, so make sure you check down to the last bit. Also, the mail isn't that great. =plate mail, so what, you can't use ur protection rings, and it gets sadly outclassed once you get of the dungeon and when you explore the city.
