what are we supposed to do with the genie in jons pad. I know he wants something, but how do i get it for him>?

The genie wants to get his bottle away from Irenicus. If you go visit the Dryads on the first level you can get it from them. Then take the bottle back to him and he will give you a reward!

You'll need to show the dryads the acorns when they want you to take it from illych BTW.

whats the reward? is it worth my time>?
