I've heard lots of talk about who is the best npc fighter. I'd say Valygar, 100 percent. He is better than minsc because Ive had them go one on one with each other lots of times, and valygar won each one. he is good with hos family katana and any other magical katana. his family one kills trolls, too.

what was minsc wielding? a dagger?

I think that early on, it's hard to say that Valygar is clearly better than Minsc. However, compare both towards the end of SoA, and into ToB, and Valygar is definitely an all-around more kickass ranger. that doesn't mean that Minsc sucks at all, mind you...

Valygar can backstab and has his family stuff. But there is no big difference between them (except of inteligence, wisdom, charisma, dexterity... [img]smile.gif[/img] )

How do you backstab?

I have Valygar and Yoshimo.

I just started playing last week. Thnx for the advice.

To backstab you need to be in stealth mode and then hit from behind the enemy.

Put the Celestial Fury katana in Valygar's hands and you have a very deadly backstabber!!!

Another point to remember, if you have the Cloak of non-detection, give it to Valygar. It helps him stay stealthy against some mages and monsters.

What were your guys highest backstab? Jan cant backstab very well, and its very weird having Jan Backstabb a giant troll, its more like thighstabb :D
