For those who care, an update...for those who don't, why did ya click to view the bloody topic?

ehm

Well where to start...two weeks ago I moved into my friend's apartment - we are going to move into the nice, comfy, well light, nicely furnished apartment in 3 months. Currently, we live in Getto apartment. Bars on windows, three locks on the doors...but hey, free rent for three months. Not really happy about it, but they wouldn't let him out of the lease and the new place wouldn't let him move in without the consent of the current apartment with respect to his lease...

Jobwise - I have a 2nd interview with the CEO of a Title Company. I'll be a supervisor in charge of closings and payoffs. I have to drive 200 miles one way for the interview - no guarentee about the job, either. But the job site is within 2 miles of my current workplace, so I won't really have to change much. I'll just be in a different part of the mortgage transaction...

That's pretty much it. I just got the phone line turned on yesterday. Cable comes Thursday...ahh, the comforts of life...

Later, all.

BK

Hey BK, good luck on the Job search. 200 miles? That is a long way for an interview.

Now, how about them Blue Jackets! :D ;)

Hey guys, thank for all the well-wishing...I just got back. Talk about rough...eating at restaurants that a beer costs 10 bucks...the bottle of wine that the Marketing guy bought for supper my first night there was about $200.00. mmmmmmmmmmm....very nice. I'm afraid to find out what the total bill was for my visit. But I'm sure it wasn't cheap. I've offically been wined and dined. Not to mention tortured by 7 different interviews...each lasting 1-3 hours....over a two day period. Then we spent a couple of hours with me sitting with different people in production...then my interview with the CEO. I walked in to his office with my suit and tie...he looks at me and asks, "Hey, do you golf? Wanna do this over 18?" So my interview was on this nice private golf course. I just happen to have my clubs in my car. And I shot a nice 87 on par72...just might be my personal best. I think he liked me. I find out on Wednesday. Wish me luck, all.

And now - I go collapse on my bed from exhaustion. Cheers.

BK
