I have cleaned out the beholder dungeon once and couldn't find it, so I'm back again. Can anyone tell me where it is, maybe by referring to landmarks in the dungeon?

If it the +5 sling that has unlimted bullets it only available to buy in the collectors version but you might be able to cheat to get it, if not I don't know.

no, that +5 one is the Sling of Everard, a different sling. The sling in the beholder dungeon is a total pain in the ass to find. It is hidden in a tiny little niche on the north side of one of the passages across the top of the map.

Just mouse around untill you find it. It shouldn't take too long if you are methodical...

Sorry! I has wrong, hmmm don't think I ever found that? Thanks.

If you are planning to install ToB, doing this will make finding it a LOT easier. With ToB installed all you have to do is hold down the tab button, and all containers will light up. Great for finding those tiny little niches like the one the sling is in. By the way, since Gabe brought it up, where IS this +5 sling anyway?

Bonus merchants are there.

And once you've unzipped the file and put it into the override directory, you should pay a visit to the copper coronet. There's a new merchant there (not Bernard) who sells it.

Thanks to all who posted. I won't be getting TOB until next year, so I won't be able to use the TAB function. As for the bonus merchants, I don't intend to install them because I find the stuff they sell is too powerful and I already have wicked weapons anyway

No, I was talking about the Shield of Baldurun which you can get from the bonus merchant in the Adventurer's mart and the sling of Everard
