I have almost finished my current game. I would like some recommendations for teh next party that I have, because so far, I have had the *regular* sort of party, and I would like a change.
Cheers DS |
Try an all-spellcaster party. Wizard, Sorcerer, Bard, Druid, Cleic and maybe a Paladin just to have something at the front. Or a Pally/Sorcerer. Battles will last fo a full 2 spells.

try a party with only 1 character: a bard and then youll see if all the people who say bards own are right
|
Problem with one-char party: I can;t solo.
I sometimes have trouble with a full party. But bards do indeed rule. War chant of Sith- enough said. EDIT: Lord Soth! [ 03-02-2005, 12:40 PM: Message edited by: Dragonshadow ] |
(start shameless self-promotion) You could check out my pally party and drow party for some ideas, as they are both theme parties and I found them to be very fun. (end shameless self-promotion)
Other ideas of "all ____ parties" (that I haven't tried) are an all dwarf party, all elf party, all halfling party, all bard party, all melee party, all caster party, priestly party, arcane party, etc. Also, you may try a party of unconventional characters: maybe consisting of a dwarf mage, elven berserker, half-orc cleric, etc. The possibilities are endless. |
Cheers for the ideas guys! I've gone with an all caster party, soemthign I've never done before, at least two of my characters are non caster.
Even found a way to get around the "no rogue" issue. One mage picks locks, the other searches, a third disarms traps. Teamwork- it's so much easier in the RPGs. TOo hard in real life. DS |
