Norwegian fined for snowballing US embassy
Wed Mar 3, 9:32 AM ET Add Offbeat - AFP to My Yahoo! OSLO (AFP) - A 34-year-old Norwegian who bombarded the US embassy in Oslo with snowballs after an evening of heavy drinking has been fined 700 dollars (576 euros). The Oslo district court found the man guilty of disturbing the peace and said the offence was particularly serious since he was a known offender, the online edition of daily Aftenposten reported Wednesday. The man had thrown a number of snowballs at the US embassy and policemen guarding the building in the wee hours of February 14. Police arrested him after he tried to climb the fence around the embassy. |
Have these Norwegians no shame ? Throwing snowballs could kill hundreds of people if aimed properly. I'd say shoot him, after a few hours of torture. :D

What's worse is that the guy is a repeat offender. How come he's not locked up at Guantanamo Bay? But then maybe that is his plan, since it's bound to be warmer there then in Norway

Canada's new Prime Minister, Paul Martin, used to throw rocks at the Soviet Embassy in Canada when he was a kid.

So we shall expect this person to become the norwegian prime minister?
I wonder what will he do as the prime minister. Probably food war at an official dinner at the white house. |
