I don't think I ever received the heretic key from Kol and unless he can be found anywhere, it's too late to get it (if I'm wrong on this, please tell me where I can find Kol instead of what I request below).

Can someone tell me about all that the statue tells you about? The history behind everyone and why the Mavin kills it's bearers. Anything you found out from the statue.

Kol should be standing just outside the Serpent Temple main gate...If you already met him and haven't recieved the key, try Dragon Spire (although this is not an option I recomend). If the key is lost, don't be sad - it's no big deal (only few ankhs in front of the statue if I'm not mistaken)...Good luck...

Well, I'm reading in a FAQ that the statue tells you all sorts of background information about people and events. That's what I'm looking to learn.

I'll look around the Dragonspire area. Why do you term this as a bad idea?
