Is there any way for my character to join the knights of the radiant heart?? Just curious. Are there any other guilds in the game that a character can join?
Any advantages when joined?

You can only join the Order of the Most Radiant Heart, if you are a Paladin.

Just do the Windspear quest and the pieces will fall into place.

Here is a list of some different character-strongholds:
Fighter - de'Arnisse Hold
Mage - Planar Sphere
Druid - Druid Grove
Bard - Five Flagons Inn
