It happened hopefully before many people went to work, before and around 9:00AM.
They do believe it is deliberate. The planes had no troubles and you could see the 2nd plane bank right into the tower. I feel very bad right now. Mark |

I just heard about it on the radio on the way to work, was coming to verify it online. It's pretty bad business. I thought it was a joke the DJ's were pulling; it sounded too "King-Kongish" for words... Undoubtedly, they're saying, it's a terrorist act of some sort.

I'm watching the news about it as well, it is shocking, especially the SECOND plane! They are speculating that one or both of these planes were hijacked. I hope that there aren't too many injuries or deaths. Isn't Yorick in Manhattan? Hope he is OK and was well away from the World Trade Center.

This is still happening as we speak. It is believed that the second plane may have been hijacked.

About 18 minutes after the first plane hit the northern tower, a second plane slammed into the southern tower, erupting into a huge fireball. The harrowing images were caught in live video. Live pictures showed a gaping hole on the side of the northern building, several stories down from the top. Black smoke was billowing from at least two sides. The second crash hit the second tower several stories lower than the first in a huge burst of flame. Just seen it on uk TV - apparantly FBI thinks 2 passenger aircraft were hi-jacked. I sure hope there were no passengers on board.....

International trady (my major) will be hurting for a while. I hope those people in the towers did not see death coming at them. my radio came on waking me up and i heard my usual jovial dj's and they werent jovial at all. i was still mostly asleep then i heard them say that 2 planes had crashed into the world trade center. i jumped up to turn on the tv. and sure enough. they even have the second on camera.

There has been a report of a plane hitting the pentagon, this has not been confirmed and a third aircraft has been hijacked(has not been confirmed either).

I've heard some of it on the radio. Tried to get into CNN, but there is too much traffic. Bush came on and was giving his condolences to those hit in the towers when shortly after the pentagon was hit. Really sad.
