I recall that in the first dungeon of the game one of the druegar drop the broken shards of a weapon. Being new to the game I dropped them though I kept the equalizer jewel. Then I learned about Cromwell and nearly kicked myself. I have a sneaky suspicion that the broken blade is reforged with the equalizer. I can't go back to Irenicus' lair (I don't think) so please say it ain't so?
Or tell me what an idiot newbie I am that I could even THINK to drop those shards. Don't worry, I will totally agree with you. =D Mage Inis |
MINOR SPOILER
* * * * * * * * * * The broken sword is NOT a part of the equalizer. I dont remember that it does anything special. see ya! |
Where is the hilt to the equalizer? I got the gem and the blade but not the handle.
|
that sword is completely worthless. just toss it, cause it will only waste an slot in you inventory!!!!
|
Broken weapon is what is says..an un-enchanted weapon that broke.
It has no value whatsoever. |
Chuck it! that mangy blade aint worth toothpick status
|
In BG2 u don't get as many broken weapons (Normal wps) as BG1...hehe...maybe because the iron crisis had no effect on AMN, perhaps?
P.S. Why is the equilizer so badly maligned, may I ask? |
in Bg2 you dont get ANY broken weaons at all. or maybe i just dumped them for magical ones that dont break anyway.
the reason the longsword of neutrality is soo badly maligned? by the time you get it you can have weapons that have better stats than it against any target. i think so anyway. cant remember exactly what stats it has, sold it an AGE ago. anyway i only hit two or three things with it. PS never EVER use it against druids. |
Their pure neutrality! They'll just laugh at thee!
