Here is my problem,

i joined the knights of the radient heart order, and was given three jobs, 1) help fight monsters at the hill-which i kicked butt at.

2)Then I had to help a baron, but found out that he was crooked-kicked his ass too.

3)I was assigned to protect a girl from assassins-cause her uncle was gonna come pick her up. At first I failed and was booted out of the order...being a poor looser, I immediatly went for my back up plan

The second time managed to kill all the assasins, the girl was okay and i waited for her uncle....and i wait and wait until a couple of days actually pass. I go to the order, and they said he would show up the next day. STILL NOTHING. So is this a bug? (I have dowloaded their latest patch, and still nothing.

Any clues?

no clue, very puzzling. I was a paladin for my main game. Yes that was tricky. A man should come saying he is her uncle. Cast detect evil, if hes evil, kill him, if not, let her go with him.

Damn, so the uncle should be showing up, but he's not. I read about clearing out the cashe in this game? What does that do and should I attempt it to fix this problem? Or are there invisible theives still left downstairs?

Could it be that I killed all the theives downstairs that the game won't continiue?

same thing happened on my first try
i restarted on my save game and did it again.
after you kill the assasins you should go right to the next faze
no waiting what soever so you will know if it works

Im about to do that quest myself, i screwed up on the baron one though and got less xp, so ill probably do it again.

Well, actually, apparently you HAVE to let one assasin up the stairs, otherewise the game doesn't let the uncle show up. Or it may not be the uncle...beware! Detect evil is always good to cast!
