Hmmm, Im a bit baffled. I went in to a row in the planar sphere and Valygar bit the dust. Now this shouldnt have been a prob as I had a staff of resurrection however, as soon as he died his picture dissapeared and I was left with his body to carry around. IS there any point to carrying him around?

You can deliver his body to the Cowled Wizards for a reward.

Surely not as I went to see the Cowled Wizards when he was alive and they got angry. I then had to wax one of them in the Sphere when he got in my way?!! So I guess I just chuck the body and get on with it or do you think they will still cough up?

Either you load a previous savegame or you dump the body.

Thank you sir! I have dumped him in a sack in the Copper Corronet. Shame that, I liked the guy. Didnt realise that I couldnt let him die though

I think it only happens if Val dies before the Planar Sphere quest is completed. I've successfully raised him after.

i would agree with that
i have also found that his dead body will open the planar sphere just as well as his living body will :evillaugh:
