In ieep, after i have made a weapon and have figured out its identified and unidentified wiriting, i dave it and go into the game and when i right click on the weapon the is no writing in the box, just a picture of the weapon and no text. sometimes there is anotherbutton other than done that is a sentance with the side cut off at the edge of the button saying- enough of this-
i am leaving n-
does anyone know what to do?
PS i know it is a very simple program and it is all clearly set out but it wont work and i cant find it in the help files, sorry.

Is the editor set for bg2?
The default setting is planescape torment.

it sounds like it's not writing to the dialog.tlk file in the right spot. do what dreamer suggested and also make sure your folders are in order. lastly, you are saving the item into your "override" folder and using SK or clua to import it, yes?

YES, i am doing al that but still no luck.

Stop Go back into the editor you have selected the wrong picture icon
look and find the weapon you want again you probably just clicked on a duplicate icon that isn't really the weapon you wanted at all try a different
icon that looks exactly the same but is a proper weapon with the correct discription
I did the same thing once I went back and recreated the Item and that fixed it
