I'm starting the game for the second time, and remember hearing/seeing that if you had a fighter/mage you needed to visit one or the other strongholds first to get both ??!?!?!?!!??

From what I have heard (never have the time to do everything), you do the fighter stronghold first, but do not accept ownership when Nalia offers you. Then do the planar sphere quest, get the ownership of the planar sphere. Now you go back to the keep and claim it .......is this how it is done?

so do you complete Nalia's quest and then have an option to think it over or what?
