I am fighting Shanglar (sp) lich and I get through the battle but every other member of my party dies. Now i could live with spending the $$ to bring them back and even the lost exps but it seems as if every time I try the battle at least one character gets petrified. Is there any way to bring this char back to life with their equipment ?
They were protected from petrification it just wore off.

Also what if the charcters stone form is smashed ?

ok, you can just use Stone to Flesh scroll/spell to release them (i believe you find a ring that can do this rather early on in Nalia's keep) to return someone from stone from, but you have to speak to them to return them back to ur party (my main thot that my buffed-up berserker was Mazzy or something! lol) but if hes broken while in stone form, i hope u exported him cuz he aint commin back!

The only exeption is when it's your PC that has turned to stone, as the game ends before you can change him/her back.
Using stone to flesh also means the character will change back to it's original shape, which can be quite annoying at times

If you don't have a stone to flesh scroll, the ring of eartch control is an alternative.
