finally finished game, but i couldnt get out of the damn tomb to get my warlock prompoted to valkyrie! therefore i just killed lord cet - who didnt seem to pose too much of a threat and afterwards looted the treasure, got some extremely nice items and ended back in town where i could finish the valkyrie ascension - not much point of course since the games already finished
so i was thinking if i was missing something or is it possible to leave the tomb and ascend to zenmaster/valkyrie BEFORE finishing the game?

Not really and doesn't it seem extremely silly for them to have left the two neatest character ascensions for so very, VERY late in the game. What were they thinking??? (probably that everyone was going to want to replay the game)
