After downloading the Google Toolbar yesterday, I was using it to browse for different pics and gifs and decided to look for some animated gifs. I found one I really like and want to put it in my sig, but I've never dealt with an animated gif before.
How do I host it and then link it to my Profile? Can Ranchoweb handle an animated gif, or do they only host jpegs? Once the gif is hosted, do I just follow the same process as normal to put it in my sig? I appreaciate your time and effort on this. I did a Search and found a few topics that mentioned the animated gifs, but couldn't find any detailed instructions on how to actually insert them in my sig. Thanks again for all your help. |
Once it is hosted, it should be just like a regular picture. Just do it like you normaly would.

You can use ranchoweb to host it; at least, when I used to have a ranchoweb account my pig still flapped while hosted there ;) . Just upload it like any other image. Then as Pritcke said, putting it in your sig is no different to a non-animated gif

Thank you for the help. Here is the new sig. It is a bit too large to begin with (200 x 200), but our own Lady Zekke was kind enough to re-size it to the proper dimensions for me.
Thank you, Wendy. That was a sweet gesture and I sincerely appreciate it. [ 12-06-2003, 09:30 PM: Message edited by: Cerek the Barbaric ] |
