Okay, a couple of questions for the veterans here...

-----

In the Mage Items thread someone mentioned that the Staff of the magi was available in the "twisted rune house, bridge district".

The problem is that I have no idea which house this refers to, and I could really use a good staff for Aerie. I have, uhm, "inspected" some of the houses in the Bridge District, but didn`t find any staff. I did find an amusing Horn of Valhalla though and in an underground tomb, I found a golden torso that I don`t know what to do with.

-----

During Korgan`s first quest, I found the Book of Kaza that doesn`t appear to do anything special. Is there a use for this book in the game or can I just drop it somewhere?

-----

Finally, has there been any official development tools released for BG or BG2? Anything that allowed you to create your own maps, adventures, etc?

Location indicated by a green 6 on this walkthrough map.

Sell it.

The staff of magi is in one of the buildings along the water (the door actually faces the water) right near where you found that underground tomb you mentioned. You will need a rogue stone to enter the area however and should be prepared for one helluva fight.

The book of kaza can be dropped or sold.

And no there is no official development tool for bg but there is a group called teambg that has done alot of work in this area.
