Having some minor computer problems and bot I and the hubby are nonplussed. I canīt get task manager to start by pressing ctrl+alt+delete any more. I can start it by running taskmgr.exe though. Iīve added a icon on the desktop for now. Can anyone help me? Is there a way to get this back? IIRC you could assign keyboard shortcuts somewhere in win98. Is the same feature still there in win2000? Iīm wondering if I somehow have deleted the keyboard shortcut for the task manager. Any help is appreciated.

Just a note. The ctrl+shift+escape still works though. Itīs only the ctrl+alt+del one. The log on window doesnīt appear...

I don't know if this helps, but I thought I'd try.

Do the keys themselves all work? I bet one of them is a)busted b)stuck. Try the OTHER alt key, as ctrl-shift-esc still works, the ctrl is ok. Make sure the del key still del's. Give each, and I'm serious, a good hard poke, do this to both alts, both shifts, both ctrls, the tab, del and esc keys - as hard as you can without finger damage. Simple solution escapes us all.
