Events.dcl Decryption

1 Attachment(s)
Events are things like doors opening, switches being used and so forth
Events.dcl seems to contain the functions used in the game data files. I have put all the notes in a spreadsheet.

Download Readme, ignore this: "This is the code that was being created in the lower left of the spreadsheets." Table of event names is included for any interested programmers.

Re: Events.dcl Decryption

I can read some of the simpler events in D6Trig01.dat, this file deals with Crypt events.
The event TextMsg retrieves messages from Textpak.000, but the latter has a special number for every message. Usually W&W files use a simple numbering system from 0 thru N, Textpak is the exception here. Textpak special numbers are listed in the initial table of contents.

It seems that the Events.dcl file has provision for 1,024 records but only uses 115 of the slots, hence the file is mostly zeroes, 92.95% to be precise.
