Can anyone tell me how to start a relaationship in the game and keep it going? To be specific, i'm trying to put my main character together with Viconia and keep it strong, but no idea how to start one or keep it going for that matter

Just get her in your party and wait for the dialogue to start! USe your judgment.

Bear in mind that at some point in chapter 3, Viconia will break off the relationship no matter how well it has gone, was disappointing.

Hmm, I'm trying to get a relationship with Viconia right now too. I tried to be all nice to her then she called me weak, lol. I want to make sure she stays in my party, since most of my guys are chaotic good.

Well, when Viconia breaks off the relationship, she will tell you that she loves you in her way, but that it is over. She will threaten to leave, and only stay if you tell her that you love her and will die without her, (heh). No matter what though, the relationship is over.
