Is there any use for boo other than taking space in Minsc's inventory? What about Edwin's necklace and Imoen's belt?

None of those items are removable - you can add in Nalia's ring.

Boo is strictly for entertainment value. But we love him.

i think of boo as minsc's familiar!

i can no more imagine minsc without boo than i can imagine what living on callisto will be like in a thousand years.

*smiles* i certainly don't begrudge him his little apartment on minsc's potion belt, either.
