I talk to the statue saying "Sanctus Kerah" and "Blessed be Kerah". These phrases are written in the talking journal now. I stand right in front of it. But nothing happens. I'm lost.

In the Crypt? Turn around...the gate behind you should have opened up.

If this is indeed in the crypt, when you say "Blessed be Kerah" she will say one of 2 things..as I recall

either she will say something like "Follow the true path" or she'll say something like "only the worthy shall enter" or something..if she says 'follow th etrue path', then you likely don't have the amulet from F'Lokis Rah (or whatever that mummy's name is). If you do, behind you the gate should have indeed opened and you can proceed.
