I'm in the room, in the Dragon Cave/Shire, that has the "Dragonshield Embosse" shield on the wall. The opposite wall seems to be a door. What do I do next? How do I open the door or/and what do I have to do to the "Dragonshield Embosse" thingee? Thanks!

You should have been finding some crystal shards while you were exploring Dragon Spire. Put those into the Dragonshield and you can open the door.
