As fer other "kits"?

Basically equip it with anything u like. if u like it, its good. ahhh.... make sure u can equip it at the same time as other items before u waste money on it!

I work better if you give me more details, what do you intend to use your Bard as? Do you want easy-to-get equipment? Do you want equipment you can get before Chapter 4? Etc... ...

The list I outlined above is for a melee Blade, backrow Blades will have a different list.

Minstrel (TDD kit), I want to melee, and preferably stuff before the end of chapter 4. I care not how hard it is to get

Ring of earth control? There's got to be better rings out there then that for a bard.

i was surprised when i equiped the ring of earth control by accident. i has an ac -1 bonus, which i totally forgot about. that makes it pretty good, since it dosent confilict with magic armour like a ring of protection would. plus earth elemental cna take some heavy damage early on, so any way to get rid of the buggers must be good.

mercykiller ring might be better, but i dont know its stats, just that its used by assasins.

from deirdre in the adventurers mart.

Coz I still want my ToB.

Mercykiller Ring is totally useless for a Bard, because it adds 20% to Hide in Shadows, Move Silently and Set Traps. None of which the Bard has.

An alternative is the Ring of Acuity, but it is your call, more spells or better AC?

Other rings that you can keep for certain situations are the Ring of Free Action and the Ring of Regeneration.
