There are several tricks for getting infinite money in this game. Some are only accessible at various parts of the game. The first one is well known, and you can use it right when you start the game. Simply go to Valeia, and create several characters in the Inn. Pool the 200gp each new character gets into one of your main characters, and then delete the money donors. If you are fast enough, you should be able to average about 2000gp every 2 minutes or less.

I believe this is in the best tips thread already, along with the disclaimer -- this only works without the patch. If the patch is installed, this is corrected (at least for me).

No, the trick he gave will work with the patch as you are creating new character, grouping them and then deleting them to create new ones.

It's a very slow process but it can be usefull if you want to gain immediate access to the fighters guild to buy Arrow +1 which you can then sell at a profit.

The trick you were refering to that was fixed with the patch is somewhat different. You create yourself 6 characters. You select you characters into a party. You go to your lead character and then you pool your gold. You then desellect your characters and select them again to pool the gold. After about 5-10 minutes, you'll have over 25,000,000 GP.
