Has anyone had 2 crashes in the Collasium near H on the map? I have and it is hair ripping out time again. Please help.

Can you provide some specifics? e.g. are you inside collasium? have you gone past the revolving door? are you near some of the falling columns? are you stuck near the treasure chest near the ceiling?

I've played the game many times and occasionally the game hangs when I'm stuck behind one of the columns, under the stairs or stuck next to the chest up near the ceiling. Then I reload a game and try to keep more distance from the annoying object and the game proceeds fine..

I've never had any crashes near there.I have been stuck comming back, after getting the tablet.

Where exactly are you and what are you trying to do when it happens?

H on the map is the second tablet room. It just crashed in the same place twice. I tried reloading but it did not help. I am going to have another try. We have just downloaded a new virus checker, it could be the problem.

Whenever I play I have to close everything except for explorer & systray. If I dont some things interfere with the game & sometimes crash it. I think the virus checker is the worst culprit. IF you endtask most things with ctrl-alt-delete your game will probably run better too.

Thanks for the advice on turning off the anti-virus Packrat. It was the problem. Yes, Kev I end up doing the Cntrl, alt, delete. I was surprised how much this game took up on the hard drive. I have just reloaded it and looking forward to a new game having finished for the first time.
