Does anyone know where I can get any books from this author ( I live in the UK - Manchester area if anyone knows any good bookshops)

I have just got hold of the Dark elf trilogy and I think it is great and I wouldn't mind getting hold of anymore of his works.

I gave up on finding them in stores(Both in the UK as in NL).
I suggest you try to order them over the net.

Shop through Amazon or Wizard's Store.

The UK Amazon site is .co.uk, not .com - use that so you won't have to pay for currency conversion 'cos it's all in £ not $, I would imagine shipping is different too.

That's it I'm Moving to Europe and opening a chain of Roleplaying and fantasy stores I'll be rich! From this and other Posts I had no Idea that alot of the RPG stuff was so confined to the US

It isn't.

As far as roleplaying stores go, the UK has a Games Workshop chain, in London we have tons of stores including The Forbidden Planet - one of the best sci-fi fantasy dedicated shops in existence, and there is an independent model/gaming store in most towns. Fantasy books are stocked by most bookshops, of which there are many in each town, any books they don't have in stock can be readily ordered.
The market is flooded! I'm not sure why you think that Europe is a fantasy backwater, we practically invented it...

The easiest way to get Salvatore books is to ask your local bookstore to order them. There are plenty in Manchester who will do that, Waterstones, Books etc. or Borders bookstore chains are a good bet.

We have a Forbiden Planet in Manchester but I couldn't find any of Salvatore's books there.

As for shopping online you need a credit card and thats one luxury I dont have.

This waterstones I have never heard of, Is it a big chain of bookshops
of is it an independant retailer.

Daniel, just go into ANY large bookstore, find the enquiries desk or if they don't have one go to the till, and ask them to order the books you want - have the authors name and the book titles you want written down so you can give the exact details. Most book shops will be happy to do this for you - you then have to wait a week or two for the delivery to be made, then you go pick up the books and pay for them - the shop will keep them in the storeroom or behind the till for you - some stores will even phone you when the books are delivered, other stores you have to keep checking with them every few days. No credit card required!
A good book shop should also be able to take your order by phone if you can't get to town straight away.
