Set Traps?

Can a Thief class character set traps in IWD I? Or has this skill been dropped? I created a thief (L2) and the special skills button is greyed out. Thanx for any info.

No. Set traps was introduced in BG2. BG1 and IWD1 don't have it. BG2 and IWD2 do.
