As I am currently computerless and without BG2 I have a question concerning portraits. How many are there? Are the new ones cool looking? Is there anywhere that I can look at them on the web? Also where can I find cool downloadable portraits other than the Ironworks? Thanks

Try the TeamBG site portrait download area here. They range from cool to pretty dodgy and they do take a while to go through.

I am getting the feeling that the new portraits either suck or that they are all linked to NPC's in the game, due to the lack of response to this thread. If you have any insight let me know.

Umm...maybe it's because no one knows where to find them on the net. There are exactly 17 new portraits from memory. And some of them are pretty damn good but they are pretty much all linked to NPCs except for one of them.

Try doing a search on the net for portraits, or maybe check the BG2 website if you haven't already...
