When ever i try to use one of the portrait i have in the game it just makes the guy with the ? mark... how do i fix this?

Make sure the name of your files do not exceed 6 characters, excluding the 'L' and 'S' suffix.

For Large portraits, end the filename with L.

For Small portraits, end the filename with S.

eg.

Correct
GothL.bmp
GothS.bmp

Wrong
GothicGuyL.bmp
GothicGuyS.bmp

The Dimension of the portraits are as follows,

Large = 110(width) by 170(height) pixels
Small = 38(w) by 60(h) pixels

i think they have to be bitmap images too, the game is VERY particular about this!
