As well you know, Intelligence modifier gives you bonus spells if you're a mage or sorcerer.
I wonder if it gives also bonus spells for bards? I created 2 bards, one with 12 INT and the other 18, there was no difference between them, 3 spells 1st level, 3 spells 2nd level, 1 spell 3rd level. Does INT effects Bards? If yes, how? ------------------ "A silent blade does not cut always best.. A tender touch from the heart may heal the wounds of my friends.. Or a song from the heart.. A duet with nymphs.. Forget 'bout nymphs, let's play KISS!!" -Yngwie J. Amadeus Zoltan "Not for your eyes only, also for your beautiful ears my wingless bird.." From Heart To Aerie |
INT does *not* give bonus spells for mages and sorcerors - it only affects the chance of their learning the spells in the first place and the maximum number that they may normally learn.

In AD&D it gives bonus spells to clerics etc.
I have my player's handbook right here http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif And Bg2 uses Ad&d rules. ************* H.H.M.A. (Hail to Holy Maiden Aerie) |

Yes, 3rd edition gives but 2rd edition does not. You're right, I'm right. We came to an agreement http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

I thought that it was wisdom that gave bonus priest spells, not intelligence?
