Im playing bg2 a second time through with a monk, and i seem to remember finding the gauntlets of crushing in the sahuagin city when i first played. But, i finished the sahuagin section and i didnt find the gauntlets. My question is can the gauntlets be found here or am i just losing my mind?

They're in the treasury, after the quest is done...

You need to have betrayed the Prince. He has the Gauntlets, along with the Spear of Impaling. (I think - it's been a while)

I helped the rebel side and my rep is a 20 i think. Does the side you help make a difference?

Ahhh, ok, well i killed him anyway after i betrayed the king and he didnt have te gauntlets, so i must have to kill him without agreeing to help him against the king. Thanks for the help by the way.

Pickpocketing just gave me the Wave part. No gauntlets

Hmm, odd. When did you pickpocket him? How many times? I got him twice while actually in the Rebel Base.
