Okay, this may sound dumb, but have you tried BACKING into the room? This has worked for me a few times when I've had problems walking into an area. Luck.

Hi,

This game is complex... Well ok its too complex... Its givin' me a complex...

Issue 1) Mekawa and the potion
Lots of suggestions from past posts (a) use the potion on him (b) run after him and
he takes the potion finally. Well I am flat stumped and not having any luck with
these solutions. Would someone point me to a **surefire** endgame on this??

Issue 2) Getting to the Toadem
Well I spoke with the Toad Shaman...Said the Word...opened the "door"... BUT
when I start "coming up" on the other side (where the Evil is) I have an game
play problem. The map screen shifts from underground view to surface view
(and I am still underground) this seems to result in me running into the "side"
of the hut on stilts (toad village hut). While the real party is undergound and
should go through the door (underground), the actual party is on the surface and
runs into the side of the hut. Well that stops me dead. Any suggestions would
be VERY helpful. lease>>>>

Issue 3) WW Impressions: I like this game (or else I wouldn't be playing it) BUT
did Heuristic Park really play their own final delivery? Doesn't seem that way to
me...

To give him the potion, I just clicked on the Use/Give button, selected the potion and kept following him and clicking on him till the potion disappeared from the screen. Only took a few seconds to do.
For the visual prob, I always look up when climbing ladders until I'm at the top then slowly look down and move ahead. So far, no clipping problems when doing this.
As for play testing, I gotta tell ya, as a professional software tester, I personally wouldn't have let this puppy out the door without further fixes. I love the game, but what the hell was their QA dept. thinking when they said "Ok, DW, ship it!"

I may not have been clear on the clipping problem:

My party is underground and visually the underwater portion
of the hut is say 6 feet straight ahead (the door, then the
room with a ladder). If you open the map screen up it shows
the surface view (as if the party was in the water 20 feet UP).
As my party tries to move to the room the cursor (in the map
window) "hits" the side of the hut. In the party view window
the party runs into an invisible wall (WHAM) and stops dead.

I have read elsewhere that clipping is a problem esp. in the Toad
Village and I plan to jump about when I get home tonight.

Thanks for the response on the potion "give". I did try to use/give
the potion but "used" it. So I probably need to select the "give"
instead of the use.

Summary:
The quest problem is a enjoyment block BUT the invisible wall is
a show stopper. I guess I'll go back to the crypt and putter about
in the tombs if I can't get past this. How frustrating this is as
many people seem to have skated right through many of the problems
that have stopped others (????)
